Billy Cox- from Jimi Hendrix’s Band of Gypsys- autographing my 1969 Shin-ei Univibe after we finished a recording session at his studio in Nashville (He’s wearing a hat and shirt from my “Welcome to the D” and “The D” apparel lines (welcometothed.com) Went there with my buddy Bill Von Linsowe, recording was a great time and we heard a bunch of cool Hendrix stories. Best moment was when Billy plugged in and warmed up playing the bass line to “Machine Gun”
